Goals for Season: "Improve on communication and team camaraderie on and off the court. Cut down on turnovers with harder passes and coming to the basketball to square up and make a move. Our upper-classmen have really stepped up in practice as leaders and it has been fun watching them go at each other in practice to make each other better. Lastly, some of our goals are to compete, be confidence, and play with heart." - Coach Hall.
Other News and Notes: "It has been fun to watch Emily Roberts grow as an individual and a basketball player. She knows our expectations, bought in, and is willing to do what is best for the team. She is our point guard, but versatile and great around the rim. She also has the hard task every night of guarding the opposing team's best player." - Coach Hall.
"Becca Morelock was our leading scorer last year and has a love for the game. She will be a three-year starter and has grown so much sincer her first year. Not only is Becca a good shooter, she has learned to attack the middle of the floor to create." - Coach Hall.
"Jazz (Jasmine McNett) is a go-ter-hr; she has a knack for the game. She reads people and the ball well and why she led the team in steals and rebounding last year. I am proud of her leadership thus far, she is pushing her teammates every day in practice to get better." - Coach Hall.
"Karina Seem may not be the most vocal at practice or on the floor, but she has always led by example. She can handle the ball for us if needed, but has worked so hard on her post moves and finding ways to score. She has an issue with her knee, so I feel for her, but appreciate her fighting through and really hoping she can play her senior year." - Coach Hall.
"Mikey (Mikela Simmons) and Marissa Bruns are two of our best rebounders and will play important minutes this season. Sydney Busdeker, Katie Hovis, and Camren Krotzer all have great size and have not realized yet how valuable they will be to us this season. I am proud of the group of girls that we get the opportunity to work with every day." - Coach Hall.
