2018-2019 Raiders' Preview

Head Coach:  Jim Linder (31st season, 11th at Wayne Trace)
                        (Record at WT - 156-84)
2017-2018 Record:  18-6 overall (6-1 GMC Co-Champs)
Key Players Lost to Graduation:  Eli Sinn (11.9 ppg., 5.3 rpg., 121 assists and 65 steals), Josh Kuhn (7.4 ppg., 4.1 rpg., 36 assists and 24 steals), Jake Kuhn (9.6 ppg., 4.2 rpg., 16 assists and 17 steals), Jordan Saylor (1.7 ppg., 1.9 rpg.).
Returning Lettermen:  Reid Miller (junior, 4.5 ppg., 36 assists and 24 steals), Nate Gerber (junior, 13.5 ppg., 3.3 rpg., 70 3-pt), Trae Sinn (senior, 2.3 ppg., 2.1 rpg, 26 assists), Josiah Linder (senior, 7.9 ppg., 3.4 rpg, 36 3-pt).
Top Prospects/Newcomers:  Alex Reinhart (junior), Mox Price (senior), Trevor Speice (sophomore), Jace Vining (senior).
Outlook:  "We want to get better each day, each week and each game," coach Linder wrote.  "If we do that, we feel like it will take care of the rest.  Our goals are to win the GMC and get as far as we can in the tournament."
Strengths:  "We have some experience  back from last year's squad, but we also have a lot of kids who will have to adapt to new roles," wrote coach Linder.  "We should be effective shooting the basketball and our guard play should be solid.  This group does need to develop some chemistry as we move new kids into new positions."
Weaknesses:  "We will need to learn our roles and adapt to them," Linder wrote.  "A lack of inside presence overall means that we need to rebound as a team and be aggressive in going to the boards.  We also must develop depth this season."
