ELMORE - Last season the Woodmore volleyball team finished 0-23 and won just three sets during the entire season.
In 2016 the Wildcats went 0-23 and didn't win a single set.
Things weren't much better in 2015, but that was the year Woodmore had earned its last victory in volleyball.
Brooke Allen finished with 11 kills, 3 digs, an ace and a set assist while Sydni Buhrow had 15 set assists, 4 kills, 4 aces, and a dig.
The Wildcats also had three digs, three aces, and two kills from Sophie Blausey and Alayna Mierzejewski added two kills, five aces and a block.
Additionally, Karys Becera had one kill and three digs, Emma Melter had two digs and an ace, and Sarah Smathers contributed with three digs.
On Tuesday, the Wildcats snapped a 66-game losing streak as it swept North Baltimore by a score of 25-15, 25-12, 25-21 to improve to 1-1 on the season.
Woodmore's next contest will be Thursday against Lakota.
