TIFFIN - It's always good to get a foot up on the competition when opening up divisional play.
Fremont St. Joseph Central Catholic kicked off its Sandusky Bay Conference River Division action on Monday with a 13-3 victory over rival Tiffin Calvert.
Dylan Filliater went 1-for-4 at the plate and drove in four runs while three Crimson Streaks picked up two hits apiece in the win.
