MAUMEE - Wednesday's non-conference tilt between Oak Harbor and Maumee was scheduled to be played at Oak Harbor.
Wet field conditions forced the Rockets to go on the road, but that didn't let them pick up a win as Oak Harbor rallied to earn a 3-2 victory.
Maumee grabbed a 2-0 lead in the bottom of the fourth inning, the only runs Spencer Segaard would give up in a complete game performance to earn the win.
With one out in the fifth inning Hunter Lacer ripped a two-run single to left field plating Adam Ohms and Clay Schulte to even the score.
Segaard shut the Panther's line-up down in the bottom of the fifth bringing Oak Harbor back to the plate looking for its first lead.
Seegard took a walk to lead off the inning and Tyler Laughlin followed suit before Oak Harbor's first out of the inning.
Adam Ohms later walked to load the bases before Schulte picked up an infield RBI single to give the Rockets (1-1 overall) the lead.
Finishing with two hits in the game for Oak Harbor were Schulte and Lacer while the Rockets finished with eight hits in the contest.
Schulte also had three stolen bases.
Oak Harbor is slated to host Genoa on Thursday.
