FREMONT - Fremont St. Joseph Central Catholic welcomed Woodmore to the Thunder Dome on Saturday for a non-conference contest.
Clinging to just a four point lead after three quarters, Woodmore went on a 13-3 run to pull away for a 58-46 win over the Crimson Streaks.
After leading at the end of the first quarter, the Crimson Streaks put together a stretch of nine straight points to lead 16-13.
The Wildcats quickly responded with an 8-0 run of their own to regain the lead for good despite SJCC staying within striking distance until Woodmore's fourth quarter run.
Mitchell Miller accounted for ten of the 13 points during the run before finishing with 28 points to lead the Wildcats (13-3 overall) while Drew Burner finished with 17.
Woodmore will travel to Elmwood on Tuesday for a Northern Buckeye Conference contest while (9-9 overall) will host Gibsonburg next Saturday.
