ELMORE - Mitchell Miller is used to putting on a show for the Woodmore boys' basketball team.
On Friday, Miller poured in 20 of his 25 points in the second half as the Wildcats pulled out a 53-49 victory over Lake in Northern Buckeye Conference action.
Miller started the third quarter with three 3-pointers to spark the Wildcats out of the half.
Woodmore outscored the Flyers 20-6 in the third.
Lake made a push in the fourth as it held the Wildcats to just seven points, all from the foul line.
That allowed Luke Walsh and Ahmad Smith to rally Lake as the two scored 13 of their team's 17 points in the final quarter.
Walsh finished with 15 points while Smith had ten. Ben Stowers led Lake with 16 points in the game.
Woodmore (12-3, 6-3 NBC) had 13 points from Drew Burner, six from Sam Barbee, and four from Aaron Sandrock.
The Wildcats will play at Fremont St. Joseph Central Catholic on Saturday evening as part of a girls' and boys' double-header.
Lake (6-11, 3-6 NBC) will host Rossford on Tuesday.
