TIFFIN - The Tiffin Columbian girls' basketball team welcomed Sandusky Bay Conference Lake Division leader Bellevue to Tiffin for a Friday evening showdown.
Bellevue did what it does best and leaned on the Santoro sisters' combined 41 points as the Lady Redmen breezed past the Tornadoes 74-45.
Columbian (8-10, 3-6 SBC Lake) were limited to just 16 first half points as Bellevue took control early on.
Casey Santoro connected on a pair of 3-pointers in the first quarter and Cory Santoro added a pair of her own to go with three free throws as the Redmen led 22-9 after on quarter.
Abby Dryfuse scored five of her 13 points in the period for the Tornadoes.
Bellevue (18-1, 10-0 SBC Lake) extended its lead to 35-16 at the half as Casey Santoro added another eight points in the quarter on her way to a 27 point game.
Gabby Turner added three of her four points in the period for the Redmen.
For the Tornadoes, Serena Ingalls scored all seven of her points in the second to account for all of Columbian's scoring during the period.
In the second half, Riley Mohr tallied 15 of her 18 points in the half for Bellevue while Cory Santoro added three more points to finish with 14 in the game.
Payton Vogel added ten for Bellevue.
The Redmen will be back in action on Tuesday when they travel to Toledo to face Start.
Columbian will return to action on Tuesday when it travels to New Riegel.
