Second Half Surge Leads Woodmore Over Fostoria

ELMORE - Fostoria tried to stay even with Woodmore on Tuesday, but the Wildcats pulled away with a big second half to earn a 76-52 win over the Redmen in Northern Buckeye Conference action.

Drew Burner scored eight points and Mitchell Miller added seven in the third quarter as the Wildcats outscored Fostoria 21-10 in the period.

Burner finished with a game-high 20 points and Miller finished with 18.

Fostoria's Aneas Cousin scored 11 of his 13 points in the first half as the Redmen trailed just 37-31 at the half.

Woodmore (7-2, 3-2 NBC) will return to action on Friday when Rossford comes callings while the Redmen (3-8, 1-5 NBC) will host Elmwood on the same evening.
