Bellevue Keeps Rolling

NORWALK - A showdown between the top two Sandusky Bay Conference Lake Division teams took place on Tuesday at Norwalk High School.

Bellevue took a nine point lead after one quarter and stayed in front the rest of the way as the Redmen took a 51-36 decision from Norwalk.

Casey Santoro controlled the opening quarter by scoring 13 of her team's 16 points in the quarter.

Santoro notched three 3-pointers in the period.

Kaelyn Harkness knocked in two of her ten points in the second quarter and Jasmine Thomas added three points in the quarter as the Truckers trimmed Bellevue's lead to 24-18 at the half.

Bellevue (12-1, 6-0 SBC Lake) closed the game out in the fourth as Cory Santoro dropped in ten of her 15 points in the period on a pair of 3-pointers and two field goals.

The Lady Redmen will host Sandusky on Saturday while Norwalk (8-4, 4-1 SBC Lake) will travel to Tiffin Columbian for a Saturday contest.
