MONROEVILLE - For the third consecutive game the Fremont St. Joseph Central Catholic boys' basketball team has played to a caliber coach Jonathan Will enjoys.
Ten different Crimson Streaks found their way into the score book on Saturday as SJCC handed Monroeville a 68-41 loss in non-conference play.
Zach Wonderly connected on a pair of 3-pointers in the first quarter and scored eight of his 13 points for SJCC (6-3 overall).
"For the second night in a row we were able to get all twelve guys significant playing time," said Will. "It was another night I thought we really executed in all phases, especially in the first half."
The first half yielded a 37-17 lead for the Crimson Streaks with Spencer Harrison scoring ten of his 14 points in the half.
Chase Harrison finished with 13 points and Chris Morrisette pitched in with 11.
Gavin Eitle was able to drop in six of his seven points for the Eagles during the third quarter while Cody Schafer led Monroeville with nine points in the game.
Monroeville is 1-9 overall.
"We shared the ball well and executed our game plan," Will said. "We are starting to find our groove here and next week is going to be a tough week for us."
SJCC is scheduled to host Norwalk St. Paul on Tuesday before a divisional game with New Riegel on Friday.
The Eagles will host Lakota on Tuesday.
