ELMORE - Woodmore freshman Brooke Allen was just one of 11 Wildcats to tally points during a non-conference contest against Ottawa Hills on Thursday.
Allen scored in each of the four quarter and led both teams in scoring as Woodmore picked up a 56-27 victory to improve to 5-4 overall with its second straight win.
In addition to Allen's four first quarter points, Katie Brugger connected on a 3-pointer and scored all five of her points in the period while Jordan Nighswander added half of her eight points in the game during the opening frame.
That allowed the Wildcats to take a 17-4 lead after one quarter.
Ellie Westmeyer scored five of her team-high 11 points in the second for the Green Bears, but Woodmore was still able to extend its lead to 27-11 at the half.
Allen went 4-of-5 from the foul line in the quarter and Nora LaMunyon and Clarissa Chavez each added baskets for the Wildcats.
Claire Rothert scored five of her seven points in the third for the Wildcats while Makayla Throop tallied all four of her points in the fourth.
For Woodmore, a home contest against Elmwood looms in the near future as the Royals enter town on January 2nd.
The Green Bears will host Toledo Christian on Saturday.
