Norwalk St. Paul Topples SJCC

FREMONT - The Fremont St. Joseph Central Catholic boys' basketball team had its three game winning streak snapped on Tuesday as Norwalk St. Paul used its height to defeat the Crimson Streaks 65-52.

The 3-4 Flyers utilized Chris Ruffing's 22 points and Nate Winslow added 11 as St. Paul shot 24-of-52 from the field in the game.

SJCC (6-4 overall) went 0-of-8 from 3-point distance and made 20-of-55 in the game while being led by Chris Morrisette's 14 points.

St. Paul will play Ashland Mapleton in Firelands Conference play on Friday while SJCC will host New Riegel in Sandusky Bay Conference River Division action Friday at the Thunder Dome.
