Clyde Grabs Early Momentum, Tops Calvert

TIFFIN - The Clyde girls' basketball team jumped out to an 18-2 advantage after one quarter at Tiffin Calvert on Tuesday and earned a 52-24 victory in non-divisional play.

Jackie Smith and Heidi Marshall each paced Clyde with 13 points apiece.

The Senecas (2-6 overall) managed just nine field goals in the game while Hannah Burns led them with ten points in the game.

With the win, Clyde improves to 6-5 overall and will now prepare for a Friday contest against Bellevue.
