UPPER SANDUSKY - It's no secret that Cory and Casey Santoro are two of Bellevue's biggest weapons.
On Tuesday, the Lady Redmen made it clear once again that the Santoro sisters can out shoot many opponents as Bellevue took down Upper Sandusky 61-50 in a non-conference showdown.
Upper Sandusky (6-2 overall) held a slim 21-19 lead after one quarter as Abigail Fogle sank three 3-pointers in the first quarter and scored 11 of her 22 points during the period.
Fogle finished with six 3's in the game as the Rams had seven total as a team.
Meanwhile, Cory Santoro started the game with a pair of 3-pointers in the first quarter on her way to a 20-point performance.
Trailing by two at the end of one, Bellevue (7-0 overall) slowly grabbed the lead to go up by three at the half.
Casey Santoro made two of her five 3-pointers in the second quarter and scored 12 of her game-high 30 points during the period.
The two Santoro's combined for all 17 of Bellevue's second quarter points.
The Redmen continued to extend their lead, going up by nine in the third quarter despite Fogle scoring eight more points in the third.
Casey Santoro canceled those eight points out with eight of her own.
For the Rams, Megan Hensel chipped in with 14 points and Madi McLaughlin finished with eight.
The unbeaten Redmen will host Shelby on Friday while Upper Sandusky will travel to taken on Seneca East.
