Bellevue - Give Willard credit.
Despite falling behind 12-3 after one quarter of action and trailing by 12 at the half, the Flashes stayed competitive before falling to unbeaten Bellevue 52-45.
The Lady Redmen (5-0 overall) made 7-of-17 from 3-point range as Cory Santoro and Casey Santoro each accounted for two 3's in the game.
Riley Mohr, Gabrielle Turner, and Kami Hay added the other long range shots.
Led by Casey Santoro's 20 points in the game, Bellevue grabbed a 30-18 lead at the half.
Willard fought back and outscored Bellevue 15-12 in the third quarter.
The Flashes received 15 points from Lydia Wiers and another 12 points from Cassidy Crawford.
With the loss, Willard drops to 3-2, but the Flashes will return to action on Saturday when it hosts Margaretta.
Bellevue will participate in the Richland County Classic on Saturday as well.
